A guy behind the counter at my local Cabelas gave me a link to a good web site.

They don't sell ammo, per say, but what they do is scour the web looking for sites that have ammo of a caliber that you seek.
Go to their site, select either rifle or hand gun, look over the calibers listed and follow the link to a dealers site. They even have the links ranked as per price per round.

Kinda of neat if you're looking for something in particular and are tired of fishing around.
