I wonder what the grill would look like 'Old School'  with verticals spaced wider apart, instead of horizontal tight spacing

ooohhh... I like that idea.  wrap them around the top leading edge a bit too...

i was thinking of a blower when i put the srt 10 motor in.    Just like a small long bird catcher type   sticking half inch to an inch out of the hood
