Well, I did the first oil change on my new truck at 3954 miles. I used Royal Purple and a Wix filter. I also dropped in a K&N air filter and put on a Fumoto Quick valve for easy draining in the future. I will have to say the the factory oil filter was on so tight that I had to go to Autozone and buy a wrench to get it loose. I also rotated the tires since it was a nice day.
I've had the truck for about 7 weeks now and so far so good. No problems yet. The only thing I don't like about it is MDS. I've averaged 14.7 mpg overall since I got the truck. I guess that's not too bad for a Hemi 4x4. I've read that some people are seeing some noticeable gain in fuel mileage by using royal purple (but I don't think it will make up the difference because the stuff costs $9 a quart). Overall, this truck is working out much better than my previous lemon.
