long beds are just bigger. the bigger wheelbase is nice too.

i like long beds lift about 6 inches a lot...

yeah lift it 6" then have no use for towing a bumper pull or 5th wheel/gooseneck......

runnin a suicide knob helps alot. i always park out in open lots so no one hits my truck. not that it would matter.

you can haul and 5th wheel or gooseneck with a 6 inch lift....just do a few mods to your trailer and raise neck just a bit

but that would be a lot of work just to put on a lift!

btw: i have a buddy with a 01 like outs with an 8" lift and 40s and hauls a 34ft goodneck all week...haha its awesome!
