I had a '87 883 hugger in purple. I loved that thing. Put 7000+ miles on that thing the first year I had it (didn't have a car). At the time Harley had a ride free guarantee. There basic sportster was $3995 and if you traded up to a fx or fl then they guaranteed you $3995 on trade in. Thus in feb. '88 I traded in for a softail custom. Rode it home in a snowstorm 45 miles. Had to stop at three bars to warm my hands! Your gonna love that bike! And its sharp looking to.

man i really wanted a new nightster, but couldnt flip that bill, plus i got a killer deal on my 05 1200C. accidently put it in the boats section, maybe it will get moved.

I have a 2005 Std Soft-tail.  The first year they came out with the wide rear end.

Hummmmm.  Guess I need to get some pictures up on here now?

I put the first grand on pretty slow...2 months...then July was a flipping BLAST put almost a grand on that month.  The last grand took forever to hit and now the weather is so bad I might get a couple hundred over the next several months. 

I just didn't have time for any really big rides this summer.  We took one trip down to St. Helens (150 miles) and a couple tootling rides w/ my pops (about a 100 each).  But the last couple months I just aint had time to do anything but ride back and forth to work (40 miles per day).

My pops on the other hand...being retired and all.  He's put over 20 K on his Kawasaki Concourse that isn't even 2 years old.
