Well, I "wasn't" picking anything up at Dave's, before I mangled the tailgate.

The stop at Daves for that was an unfortunate circumstance of me being a moron.

What we were really up in Bremen for to pick up a '68 Camaro for DJ.

That and we had to stop at my Garrett Turbo distributor to order the new goodie for Tom's car..............

Super Dave saves the day again, eh?

Props to you Rich for manning up and taking care of the mistake right away.  If only more people in this world took that kind of responsibility....

Well, I'd be kind of hypocrite if I didn't follow my own rules for my toys.

But, yes, Super Dave once again saved my ass AND my wallet.

I have the old tailgate in the back of my truck.

I've decided it will meet it's fate by way of 12 gauge.

Dave saved the day again tonight.  One of the guys in the squadron's trucks wouldn't start.  He walked back in just as I was about to walk out all downcast.  Asked him what's up and he said his truck wouldn't start again.  I just had him over to the house last night to put in a new fuel filter because he thought he had gelled up a different night and it had started after a few days and some diesel 911.  He had a few codes and had talked to some local guy that had quoted him 1800 bucks.  I gave Dave a quick call, gave him the codes and he said to try swapping the horn relay for the fuel relay...truck started.  Time will tell if there is a greater problem that fried the relay but for the moment it went from truck being down for repairs and a lot of money to a quick trip to town for a couple relays to replace the one and a spare.  Thanks again Dave you are the man!!!

Dave, man, I want to publicly say thanks for the help getting that hardware for the new hood.

For those that wonder what I'm talking about, the SRT-10 hood that came home with me from the G2G was missing the clips to hold the scoop insert in.  Talked to Dave about it and he went to work.  turned out to be quite the hassle to actually get ahold of these little suckers, but it certainly wasn't from lack of effort.

I just got a package from Dave today with the pieces I needed.

Thanks man.  I owe ya a bottle of crown sometime
