Adam

P1764 is governor pressure sensor volts too low - this can cause unexpected operation of the transmission (governor pressure solenoid signal is lost to the PCM)

I have a troubleshooting procedure, but do you have an e-mail I can send it to?

PM me

Adam,

The pressure sensor and the governor solenoid are the 2 pieces I had to replace on mine recently.

They are very easy and if you do one, you want to do the other with it.

They can REALLY reek havoc on your tranny shifting, as they are what controls the line pressure and shows it to the ECM.
