How do i get the damn thing off? I see in jakebrakes DIY in a 3rd gen you have to take a nut off, but according to the shitty haynes it says just screw it off. but it aint wantin to budge.


1993 W250 12 valve
hx40, 75hp sticks, m4, 4000 gov, arp's , 60lb springs, electric lift pump, timing advanced, full power screw bottomed, smoke screw turned up, star wheel turned 2 turns.

You need a flat head screwdriver . the part that has what gear you are in pops out and there is a nut in there . put the screw driver where the soft rubber meets  the plastic  on the top . It's like an inverted mushroom so it's a pita to get out. I have pics .
