Pro Comp X-Terrains
« on: June 19, 2009, 01:09:12 am »
I found a set of almost new Pro Comp X-Terrains for about 250 bucks in a size 33x12.50x16 and want to get them but have heard from many sources that they aren't the best tires often referred to as Pro Crap. Any input would be appreciated.

Been running Pro Comp AT or ATX's for over 2 years on different trucks. Never had a problem.

Mine have held up fine, but they are the Xtreme All Terrain Radial.  I don't know how many miles they have- they were on the truck when I bought it 2 years ago.  I have put on 20k and 3 of them are in ok shape.  The 4th not so good- I had a bad hub bearing and that corner wore very fast. If I remember correctly, a couple people from the other site had 50K and up.

Yeah, for $250 (the price of one new tire) you really can't go wrong.  Even if they last 20k miles you'll come out ahead.  And of course for someone like me that's over a years worth of driving.

I have them and they seem to wear really fast on my truck.  For the price that you got you can't beat them though.
