just a beer?

when football season comesxarond I'm in the bar for 4-6 hours and at 15-20 minutes a beer that add up.

We do, makes the sports bar a really good time and place to watch the race!!

i dont work, so spending the ol' lady's money at a bar just doesnt seem right.  instead, i spend a couple of hundred bucks every weekend and i invite all my buddies over to my house to watch the big screen.  they know the routine; just show up!  i have all the beer, whiskey and food. 

p.s.  it would be a lot cheaper if i went to the bar!

I think this will be a fairly sober football season for me.  Mainly due to timing.  Thurs night football (8pm EST) will be on at 0900 Friday for me.  (aka, during work) Same thing for Monday night football, first thing Tuesday Morning...

Oh well...  it'll be an interesting season.  (It'll also be easier if I only follow my one team...)

I didn't say anything about when I'm not working, I just don't think my commander would approve me kicking my feet up, opening a six pack, and completely ignoring my duties to watch the game.  (0900, aka, duty hours, in my office... yeah...)

That's what you need a good PSG for.......

Besides, he shouldn't even let you out of the office for at least 6 months.

Once you can write a good NCOER, come up with a timely OPORD, and generally not get him his ass chewed, then he can let you out to watch football.

I used to test my new LT's for about 6 months. There'd be a stack of books on his desk and I wouldn't let him do anything or send anything out of the office without me seeing it first until he knew the doctrinal stuff inside and out.
