How the hell do you get a colt to 120 in the first place?

In HS a friend had one and I swear that thing wouldn't go about 50 w/ 3 of us in it?!?!

JO, in 85 or 86, there was a guy I knew that had a Dodge Colt GLH  2.2 turbo that was a muscle car killer.  GLS stood for Goes Like Hell.

Between the narration before and directly after it happened to clutch (was that what that was?) passing them on the road i thought it was a great few minutes of veiwage

It was funny to hear how nervous and clueless they were as it was happening, then seeing it start to settle down and turn into a joke as time went on.

Hmm, didn't look like they were going 120, but anyway when your clutch can go faster than your car its time for a new car.  I have had tires pass me before, driveshafts fall out, gas tanks fall out, but never had a tranny fall out. That is just plain chitty luck right there. Maybe next time tighten the bolts..  :ph:

Did you see that motor Jo? They had 36 psi running thru a totally built engine and never swapped the transmission out, thats why they started in 3rd instead of in first, they assumed that there would be less stress and were talking about the trans swap when it went KABANG!

Totally hilarious.
DoF, it's like family, but with more straight jacket and less restraining order.

from the looks if it, after looking at the vid. the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel sheered, thus allowing the pressure plate to go where ever it wanted to busting the bell houseing.
