riding w/ the gang
« on: September 20, 2009, 04:17:11 pm »
Yesterday we took the kid out with some friends at a place about an hour away.  The boy does really well in big open area's (sand, fields) but doesn't have much experience on trails. One trail ride he did about a year ago he got a little mad at his quad because there really isn't much front suspension travel.  But he did GREAT yesterday!!  Did an almost hour long ride w/ me up the hill on the logging roads.  Did another hour with daddy and a bunch of others on some of the easier trials.  Did a couple dozen little short rides with whomever would go with him in the muddy area right by the parking lot.

Think it's time to get him a little bigger bike with more travel and 4 wheel drive

Simon did a little screwing around for the camera

I even completed the day only hitting one tree and putting the quad on two wheels once :D

Looks like a shwaeeett day of riding!!!

Its nice to see your getting the boy into the good stuff early! I sure wish i would of had an early entrance into these type of things.

So how come we don't have pictures or videos of this tree run in of yours?  ;D

I blew a corner.  Was riding someone else's quad and he doesn't have any guards on the rear axle so I was worried about a rock in the middle of the corner.  Tried to go wide around it and just didn't cut it back enough...poof tree stopped me :)

And encase you haven't noticed...there are very rarely pictures / videos or any other incrementing evidence of me posted here :tt2:

Actually, to the best of my knowledge... There is ZERO pictures or videos of incrementing evidence on your part!

Why is that?
