Materials:
Gauge Faces (ebay)
Small (tiny as hell) flathead screwdriver
Philips head screwdriver
1. Remove the dash cover, and unscrew the 6 screws holding in the gauge cluster. If you dont want to remove it from the vehicle (makes it harder to align right) just unscrew the plastic protector.
2. Pull the gauge cluster out. Youll have to drop the trans into 1 so you can get the cluster around the shifter without cussin. There are 3 connections on the back, unplug those. Look down to the steering colum and remove the trans location cable and bracket. You have to squeeze it together, then back it off.
3. Take all the lights out of the back, and pull the plastic covers off of the cluster so its just the gauges that are exposed.
4. Using the small screwdriver, GENTLY pry off the needles. Stick the screwdriver under the needles and gently pry up and they will pop off. Dont attempt to put the faces over the needle, it wont fit right.
5. Align the new face to the old, using a card or razorblade, lay the gauge face on so there is no air bubbles.
6. Do this to all of them, and put the needles back on.
7. Reinstall Lights, then install back in dash.
8. Fire up the truck and make sure the needles are reading properly. I had to pull mine off again and adjust them back down.
9. Put the dash back together and enjoy!
