42RLE band adjustment
« on: May 15, 2010, 03:28:19 am »
I'm changing the tranny fluid and filter this weekend ('07 Ram 1500, 3.7).  Can anyone tell/send me instructions on how to adjust the bands?  I have the service manual, but haven't found the pages referencing this procedure.  I'm guessing there ARE bands (front and rear)...but all searches pull up other model transmissions.

The answer is that the 42RLE does not have bands to adjust.  Thus explaining why I couldn't find mention of adjustment in the service manual.
