Revised Rules for Rotm
« on: December 26, 2010, 04:25:52 am »

1 - To be eligible for nomination you must meet the minimum requirements.

          a) Vehicle nominated must be Dodge.
          b) Must be a member in good standing for at least 30 days.
          c) Must have a minimum post count of at least 30 posts.
          d) Once nominated and seconded, Rides are not eligible for 3 months. Limit of 4 nominations per year.

2 - You can only win once per year

3 - If you do win ROTM / ROTY, you must have significant modifications / improvements to be eligible again.

4 - For now, the ROTM will be one consolidated event. As the site grows, that will change.

5 - The winner of the ROTM will have their vehicle displayed in the upper right corner (where my truck is now) for the next month.

6 - Nominations run from the 1st to the 5th of each month. Poll will be set up after that and voting goes until the 25th of the month. After that, the winner is announced, they submit a picture for up top and, if you don't have the Photoshop skills, we'll sexy it up a bit and post in for all to see.

7 - Nominations must be seconded. The nominee DOES NOT have to accept. Rather than penalizing them that way, if you do not want to be considered simply respond that way.

8 - You can only nominate OR second one vehicle. The intent of the nomination process is to allow participation throughout the forum.

Any questions?

define significant...
Life sucks.....so drop your pants and let the good times roll!

I think life is too short to spend your time working someplace where people don't crap their pants at the mere sight of you.

Significant= Major modifications, I'll use myself as an example...

I won for November, But say i had won in April. I wouldn't allow my truck to be in the running again unless it had....
        1- lift, wheels, tires...
2- major performance upgrades, Verifiable with dyno sheet.
3- body modifications, (paint, or otherwise)

The reason for this is to not have a given vehicle win multiple times due to popularity.

Yup.

Even if it's the same vehicle, as long as it has SIGNIFICANT changes in one year, it's eligible.

Yes. You can run em back to back, that is if you are nominated. Keep in mind, there is a time restraint you have to meet before you are eligible for ROTM.
