Lift Pump Pressure with airdog
« on: February 05, 2013, 03:39:30 am »
Gonna put a fuel psi on my lift pump side, and have an air dog. I don't believe the port on the pump housing will give an accurate reading as to whats going into the CP3... thinking about a T-Fitting in my fuel line right before the CP3... any thoughts/exp?

I was gonna use a Push Lock T-fitting as well, think thats a no-no or a good call? only issue I think is it may interupt flow to and read higher than whats going into the CP3. I don't see the line coming off though....

Unless you have twin CP3's AND HUGE injectors I don't think you'll have an appreciable pressure drop between the Lift pump and the CP3. If you have the AD II you can always adjust the pressure. I spent my money on a newline between the AD and the CP3. (Braided AN line and fittings) much better than the pushlock stuff especially since it is always under pressure.
Now, as soon as it gets a little warmer Ill install it...LOL

Fair enough... I like the line upgrade idea, might put that on the list
