Help with a FASS 150
« on: August 05, 2011, 11:53:19 pm »
Everything that I look at says to grease the o-ring of the fuel filter with motor oil and then screw it on. BUT then it says to prime the system as described in the owners manual. I don't have the owners manual SO I was thinking I can just get away with filling the filter with fuel and then screwing it on. Is this what everyone else does?

That would work, as long as the fuel you use is clean

also, if you bump the starter, but do not start the truck, the pump will run for about 20 seconds - that will fill the filters as well
