This is a detailed install of a JD's Diesel Performance Billet Tappet Cover.
1. Remove old tappet cover and clean sealing surface on block.
2. Install o-ring into tappet cover. I used a little rtv to make sure the o-ring doesn't fall out and get pinched during installation.
3. Install tappet cover onto block. The bolts are 5mm allen head. There is 1 short one that goes into the machined recess.
4. Torque bolts to 18ftlbs starting from the middle and working your way out.
5. Install breathers into tappet cover.
