Crap - they don't show a schematic   :argh:

I'm not sure if they run the MAP wires all the way to the box or not, so it would be better to make your connections down near the Map Sensor

You could try to trace the wires up to the Comp Box - find the orange and grey wires in your OE harness, and trace thru the Edge plug to find the new colors - trace up to the Comp Box and see if those wires come all the way up - I would suspect they do

I guess that's what I'll hafta do. I had to un-plug the factory MAP connector, plug in the Edge, and then plug the factory MAP sensor connector into a new connector provided by Edge. Hopefully I'll be able to easily tell which wire is hooked up to which. If anyone else has an Edge and already knows, PLEASE chime in !!

Best thing is, the Lie-O-Meter is climbing like crazy right now - I can't wait till my next fill up to see what kind of mileage I'm gonna get!

Wait ... are you saying that your mileage has gotten BETTER since installing the new injectors?

HUH ???

I suppose its possible that the new injectors are atomizing the fuel better. With a better air to fuel mix you'll get more from a given explosion. I.e. More extracted power from the same amount of fuel.

See, there is a reason for new injectors right there , better fuel economy...

Donny, If you have a meter you could touch the wires at the MAP sensor and probe the wires at the Comp Box and test for continuity in case they change colors in between. I would do it unplugged with the truck off so you don't hurt anything.

You can get just a boost builder w/o buying a complete programmer.  BD makes a good one that is easy plug and play.

Is that the same thing that I posted a link to on the first page? It looks slightly different and has a different name. Might just be the difference between BD's & Quadzilla's.

I just sent an email to Edge and just asked. We'll see ...

HUH ???

With 50 - 90 HP injectors and conservative driving, you can see a mileage increase. Above that and you're usually pushing too much fuel. The 50's are where you see the biggest gain in mileage...not enough to offset the cost, but the biggest gain none the less.

The aftermarket injectors have much cleaner nozzle holes and can atomize better.

Getting more low end torque and staying out of the high RPM's can get you a bit better mileage.
