I could see leaving them locked in the winter, ready to shift and go as needed, and unlocked the rest of the time.

Pointless discussion, anyway, seeing what the kit costs...  :whistling:
ME: 1996 CTD 2500 4x4 long bed, manual trans w/Valair 13" clutch, BHAF, TST #11 fuel plate, pyro/boost gauges, straight pipe, 294k mi and rollin'...
WIFEY: 2005 Grand Caravan SXT, 155k or so...

With locking hubs you should lock them and drive around for a few days periodically any way. This keeps the axle lubes and seals in shape and u-joints too.
2014 Ram 2500 Laramie, 4x4, 3.42 gears. Auto Trans, Crew cab, long bed. Window Visors, trifold bed cover.

He definitely finished this and did his own DIY. I saw them before I skidaddled out of NC and he asked me what I thought. I gave him the best blank stare I could muster...
