DIY DPF Delete
« on: January 18, 2009, 10:30:56 pm »
Has anyone been following the DIY DPF delete threads over on Cummins Forum?  Sorry for the cross post and hopefully this is Ok with the Admins.  Just wondering if anyone was considering this.

EGT Probe Connector Disassembly

I don't have access to a shop to fab up the pipe, not that I could do it anyway mind you.  I'm probably going to buy a Stage II pipe and give this a try when the weather turns a bit warmer.  I don't mind dropping a few hundred on this but I cannot afford a grand for the H&S or BADP kits.  While I'm at it, the EGR cooler will be relocated to a shelf in the garage.

Any thoughts on the topic?

Mike

I saw those. That is basically a stage 1 kit from H&S really. It is working for the guy, too late for me though.
