04 Durango cigarette lighter power
« on: January 18, 2011, 04:03:00 am »
Hi all, new to the forum. I have a 2004 Durango, of the three aux power outlets, only the one under the centre console works, the one in the dash and in the trunk do not work. I've been searching over the net for a while but not found an answer as to if they are on separate fuses or how to approach the issue. The fuse by the drivers left foot is good. Appreciate any suggestions.Thanks.

First, Welcome to the forum!

as to your question:

There is a fuse in the power distribution center (under the hood) 30Amp fuse #4

Fuse 3 (20 Amp) controls power to the cigarette lighter
Fuse 35 (20 Amp) controls power to the power outlets (one in rear, one in console)

Welcome To the NUT House   Glad to have you Here

Also if you have a Meter pull the socket out and see if you have power at the wire before the socket, I had this problem with my Ram and these guys helped me out. Mine was a bad connection in the socket it self
