Lack of air flow from defroster vents
« on: January 10, 2011, 06:31:19 am »
I seem to have a lack of airflow from the defroster vents.  Fan runs fine, and there is great air flow from all the other positions.  Any suggestions ?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

That sounds like a blend door problem

It would help us to help you if you let us know what vehicle you have

www.heatertreater.net.  They'll help you diagnose it and offer a great fix for the doors that you can do yourself and not avoid removing the entire dash.  Sounds like a blend door or mode door 1 but need some more information.
Is the air the saem temp on both sides of the dash?  Equal flow on both sides?  Does recirc work properly?
