It'd be intersting to see some of the different finishes you could get with the gloss coat and a spray gun.  If i was going for a more long term use of it, id definitely look into it.  I've already ripped much of the plasti dip off and started sanding and painting.  The hood will stay white for a while until i find a good decal to replace it.  What i've found so far is that using thinner coats seems to stick a bit better and has a finer surface texture when dry.  I did get peppered with some sand/rocks on the hood and it held up no problem.

I planned on doing 4-6 light coats (maybe more because if its to thin it does not come off nice) just to be sure that I get enough of a coat to cover everything... Good to know that a light coat will make a finer texture tho. Thats what I would want on my wheels.

Good to know that it is holding up well tho, I hear so many mixed things online

Here's some shots of it being peeled off the bumper.  It comes off in one piece if youve spayed it thick enough.  The thinner areas are harder to pull off.

Decal arrived, so off with the dip.  It held up super well for the little bit of time it was on.
