Not real sure what I'm looking at...but it looks like a whole lot of fun.

My form 4's for my suppressors came in. Took 231 days.

While shooting is a fun sport, doing it suppressed is much better.

Now to start playing around with some different loads and make a really quiet 9mm.

Dear goodness you spent a long time in FFL jail!  The inconsistency is almost entertaining.  I love being at the range when someone has a suppressor on & the old guys who play RSO get all fluttered by it.

And BTW ... Safe that weapon! :tt2:

The times are coming down a bit. I was projecting about 270 days back in March when I purchased them.

I did an individual instead of a trust. So the turnaround is a bit quicker. One of my guys put one on a trust and waited right at 300 days for his.

The more I shoot the more I enjoy them. Got a threaded barrel for my G34, thing is tolerable even shooting indoors suppressed.

Planning to go target shooting. What should a newbie like me get for a first gun?

Pistol or Rifle?

Go with a .22 cal. Ammo is inexpensive and you can shoot all day for less than $50 as a brick of 500 will run you as low as $18.

I like my S&W Victory, was looking for a Ruger mark 4. But for the price I couldn't pass it up. However for a beginner, any .22 cal pistols in the $200 price range will still give you good accuracy without breaking the bank.

One thing you could do is many ranges do rentals. Doing that will allow you to shoot multiple guns without the worry about having to clean them.
