I updated some stuff on the app store like I normaly do from time to time, then I'll do a re-boot. This process has been working fine for quite some time and has kept my phone running pretty good.
well, today when I did the re-boot of my phone all I got apon the reboot was the apple, then the screen went blank
come to find out the OS somehow corrupted itself and now I have to do a re-install of the OS. :banging: :banging: :banging:
all the pics I have taken this week, texts, and all the other happy horse crap I had since my last sync are now gone
now I'm in the middle of trying to get my phone back up and running while on vacation :suicide:

Apple version of thr BSOD? Apples don't have their issues.. yeah right.. f*$#% you Steve
-
Dang man... that sucks!
-
I got it up and running with 3.1.3. . .I didnt want to use this OS but I think I'm forced to right now.
OS is installed, syncing what I do have then comes the jailbreak.
BTW 3.1.3 can be broken ;)
-
Is that the same version my buddy has?
-
if it is a 3GS then yea.
-
thats what you get for buying an apple product
-
Actually, its probably what he gets for jailbreaking it... and I'd probably do the same thing. :whistling: Of course, Id also never trust a device as flaky as a cell phone to be the sole place I hold important stuff... Sorry buddy.
-
Rob, it wasn't the sole place I kept important stuff. I had been doing sync's, I just haven't done one in a while.
Also, this issue happens to phones that have not been either jailbroken or unlocked. It is exactly the same as when we load smarty on our trucks. Something is bound to go awry, even if it is something that can fail on a completely stock truck.

I jailbroke my 3.1.3 this week as well. Only problem I had was the pics going MIA. I didn't need them though. Plus they're backed up on my PC.
