Looking for a new 68RFE
« on: August 01, 2016, 10:10:48 pm »
Just got the news my trans is going bad, looking to replace it.  What are my options?  2007.5 6.7L 4WD 2500.
6" lift, DPF delete, EGR delete, Smarty, xrt pro overdrive, GDP grid heater delete, S-3 intake, and S&B cold air intake.

I think your best bet is a rebuild. They can ake them better and stronger.

Ok, if rebuilt is the better option, are there parts kits available the have all the goodies? I would like to purchase my own parts and then have it rebuilt by a professional trans shop.

I let the shop I went to buy the parts themselves. But, most transmission places seem to sell the parts online.
