Wow, that's a crazy price. Do you know if he was doing screen printing or heat press? Any idea on what brand shirts or what weight they are?
No idea what weight they are... but they do not feel cheap. They actually are much thicker than an average Haynes or Fruit of the Loom shirt. As far as what type of printing... if the heat pressed one is slightly raised, then its not. I could ask when i pick them up at the end of the week.
Also, to get that deal, i had to order 50. If i wanted only one color, it was $6 a shirt. Its an extra dollar per shirt per color.
I also got 5 hoodies made, too. $20 a pop. I asked him if they are shit hoodies or nice ones... he said they're not high end but he'd wear them out, so we'll see...
He even tells me that there's not much profit in them. He makes most of his money doing business lit signs, truck lettering and yard signs.
