Nick

check our vendors section - several are dealers for CFM+ - I got mine from one of them, and have done business with nearly all of them - never a problem!

Nick - typically they can't beat many deals (most of those products have manufacturer set minimum pricing - to protect dealers)

But - it's nice to be able to go to somebody that people you 'know' have dealt with, and that have a good rep.

this is a good point, i probably should of waited around for an answer on a quote instead of going through ebay. i am just so use to ebay i tend to start there, and finish there. the only thing i have bought here from out vendors was my amsoil which i was 110% happy with!

ill have to keep that in mind on my next purchase and see if i can work something out then...

today i got my intake in  clap

when i first opened the box i was amazed on how light it was, it looks likes its some kind of plastic... i was expecting something more metal'ish.

it only took about 1.5 hours to install although i kinda took my time. it was actually REALLY easy to install although 2 of the studs i could not fit a torque wrench around so i just hand tightened it to where i thought it had to be (is that alright?)

here she is:

now after i installed it, it made a clicking noise that it did not make prior. i am guessing this new noise its creating is just from the change of air flow and the muffle from the intake material BUT i tried capture some audio in case you all think there is a problem...

(it does sound similar but also a little different in real life)
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/GPe9TMSqrnE&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/GPe9TMSqrnE&rel=0</a>

i took it out for a test drive and everything seems to be alright so im sure the clicking noise i hear is nothing... i hope  innocent

Wow, you got some serious wire clutter coming off that battery. Good job on the install though. Looks really good.
